But that isn't the right answer. You left out the sexiest people (male or female) on the planet. Brazilians. Yes, the Portuguese language gets me going.

I like ladies with English (British) accents. French is also cool sometimes

Swedish, hands down. When they speak in their native language and in english.

I can't stand British accents. I guess sometimes it's ok, but more often than not it's painful to my ears.

French accents tend to annoy the sit outta me. English accents also... Spanish is gross...ummm...others, I either haven't heard (or could remember what they sound like) or don't want to scroll up to find out... I'll stick with north american english...

There are certain Scottish accents that can make me go quite weak at the knees. The softer ones, but I'm not sure of the exact region.

English spoken with a Danish or Russian accent, is pretty sexy too.

I like a French accent on the ladies. Some American accents are quite sexy on women. Not all though. Especially not from the deep south, where everyone sounds as thick as two short planks.

But we don't always get what we want do we? I mean my current girlfriend is a young lass from.... the deep south.

I have to give a mention to Hope Sandoval (of Mazzy Star) singing voice. Now that is sexy.

scottish accents bug me for the most part... no, they don't bug me exactly but they don't cause me arousal... still not as bad as english accents

irish gets on my nerves a lotta the time... sometimes it's okay if it's really soft but even then it can be annoying... don't take offence fishmonkey; i dislike my own accent as well... i think maybe japanese oculd be the best

As with the scottish, the type of irish accent is what makes the difference.

I'm not a snob or nothin but I quite like posh/upper middle class Scottish accents... I once hooked up with a gorgeous young lady who had such an accent and she drove me mad with desire....

I went with Irish, but that in no way means Belfast, who have yet to learn vowels, or Dublin who always seem to want to spit at me. Ideally Cork or Limerick. I can't understand Cork, but I do love how it sounds.

I have a soft spot for Welsh and Yorkshire accents. Most European accents can be quite sexy. I'm particularly fond of Russian. Indian, preferably North, gets me going, as does Chinese. I can't stand 90% of American or Australian accents. I don't know why, and I apologise if you have one.

Depends on the voice. Dylan Moran has a sexy Irish accent, Mikhail Baryshnikov has a sexy Russian accent, Alan Rickman has a sexy English accent, John Cale has a sexy Welsh accent.... my friend has a sexy Swedish accent.

You can be from anywhere and if you have an annoying voice people won't find you sexy.

In my head, Katy, you have a very upper-crust tea-and-cucumber-sandwiches voice.
