I posted no more than a couple of times on the old board, but one day I decided to come back when I realized I had ran out of websites to visit. I am Danny. I really don't know what else to say about myself.

because of this fine lady, we broke the board record on new year's day two years ago, some of the most fun times i had here...well...you get it.

but yeah, hugs right back at you. i would have loved to have an art teacher who was into sonic youth, mine was more interested in fake tans and sports cars. ignored my whole table, and didnt even bother to tell us what work to do or check we had even done any of it. she did not once teach us anything. we simply sat there and had some coursework to do. i was really interested in learning some skill at painting and drawing but no.

over time i got so far behind and got annoyed by the restrictions of the stuff. i didn't want to make posters about the theme of autumn or winter. i wanted to be expressive and do out there avant garde shit, but it wasnt allowed and i felt too self concious to express myself artistically in a class of girls who didnt like me, so i eventually just dropped the class.

now im still interested in art, and do try my hand at it, but i lack a lot of basic skills in painiting and drawing that i was never taught. sad, but of course it was my fault as well as the teachers for slacking off.

so props to you for being a sy loving art teacher! what are the kids you teach like?

The kids I teach: some are demon seeds from hell, some are just perfect. My problem (or strength) is: I love them ALL. They simply fukkin rock my world. They are honest, bright, creative, accepting, loyal, positive, sensitive, ya get the picture. I am the luckiest damn teacher in the world.

it was like six or seven pages of numbers as titles like "39!!!!", "41!!!". "28??!!! (wtf?)", other than the threads with titles like "fuck you lurkers!! log the fuck in!!" and us making the oddest comments...hahahahaha, it was great...something like that hasn't happened here ever since.

i remember you being pretty cool from the old board, but i don't know if we ever actually conversed. you left not too long after i began posting.

art teachers are my favorites. i've thought about becoming one (i'm still in high school, so that decision is still pretty far off) but i doubt i have the proper skills (my art can be pretty sloppy). the other option is to be an English teacher. or start a band. whatever.

If I were a teacher I'd teach highschool students English or Math. Probably English because I get really impatient when people don't understand math.

i don't understand math. i'm so glad i don't have to take a math course this year. Pre-Calc was hell.

I really like math. I hate my aglebraII teacher because he moves so slow. He is really obnoxious, too. I was thinking of tranfering to this harder teacher that moves faster, but I'm willing to stick with the one I hate because he is really easy.
