WTF

Pre-aged T-shirts. T-shirts that come aged so you don't have to age them yourself. What a great idea

jon boy 11.18.2006 07:26 AM

2nd hand stores?

king_buzzo 11.18.2006 10:13 AM

^ exactly.

who would want aged shirts anyways?

zedius 11.18.2006 11:49 AM

So many people. Fashion is handicapped.

k-krack 11.18.2006 11:52 AM

Just like pre-ripped jeans... why?

porkmarrass 11.18.2006 02:26 PM

I buy my pre-ripped jeans from Gap.

finding nobody 11.18.2006 02:47 PM

What's really funny is that the pre-ripped jeans are more then the non-pre-ripped ones

nicfit 11.18.2006 02:49 PM

it takes many work-hours to mess up with jeans' tissue!

I'll defend pre-aged t-shirts. I have a penchant for kids' t-shirts found at the thrift store, of which worthwhile ones are rarities (someone check my grammar on this, I'm having a momentary mental blank). I love the texture of worn cotton, and it takes ages for a t-shirt to achieve that desired texture. If it hasn't got a tacky logo, I'm sold.

Savage Clone 11.18.2006 03:43 PM

Yes, but the pre-aging never actually provides the true and real texture of true and real aging. That is the problem.
I especially hate the computer-generated "distressed" silkscreen design. That just looks fake, especially on a brand new shirt.

True; and it's not necessarily aged cotton I prefer, but the exceptionally thin cotton that was the fabric of choice for t-shirts manufactured in the 70s and 80s. So in any case, it's difficult to find an exemplary t-shirt these days, but I don't really object to the notion of new "aged" clothing.

With the exception of the aforementioned jeans, possibly. If you want to be an asshat and buy your pants pre-ripped, by all means, do so, but if you're going to pay inflated prices for it, give that money to me instead and I'll be happy to manually destroy the contents of your closet.

Savage Clone 11.18.2006 03:52 PM

I don't really wear jeans, which cuts through that whole tangled mess.

HaydenAsche 11.18.2006 04:00 PM

Pre-aged shirts are for vintage people who hate second hand stores.

EyeballGrowth 11.20.2006 10:03 PM

I was being extremely sarcastic incase anyone missed that

This is what annoys the shit out of me. Aged shirts in general are becoming super trendy, whether they are naturally aged or fake. And now it's making me look trendy cause most of my concert shirts I've had since middleschool. :(

king_buzzo 11.21.2006 04:50 AM

only skinheads wear pre ripped jeans...

ripped jeans suck

tesla69 11.21.2006 11:09 AM

people have too much money and time.

I couldn't possibly agree more wholeheartedly. I would spontaneously combust.
