Mixtape Artwork
 

Ahoy. Further to the mixtapery threads, anyone fancy posting pics of the tapes they've recieved? The artwork for my first two were pretty shit, but my third and fourth I've been quite pleased with. By contrast, I was most impressed with the artwork on Hip Priest's and Bytor Peltor's, and I imagine the standard is pretty high across the board.

Do you people have cameras? I'll have to figure out how to work a borrowed camera, so I'll get back to this thread in a bit.

Well, I could scan mine. I've been meaning to, I just always forget. Hip Priest did show my (rather boring) artwork.

Hip Priest showed mine, I think, in one of the mix tapes threads.

My artwork is always awful. I rule.

Of the two I've sent, the round one tape (recieved by Glice) had rather poor artwork; I think this was because I hadn't considered artwork at all, so it was done in a complete hurry. Sorry, Mr G. The second round one, recieved by Пятхъдесят Шест, cut and pasted, showed much improvement - I'd be happy to see that one again, Пятхъдесят Шест, since you have a scanner. Of the ones to be sent out, round 3 (my David Sylvian retrospective) looked OK, and the round four is lovely lovely lovely (same idea as round 2).


Anyway, enough waffle. I've so far recieved two.

My round four artwork was pretty nice. It had an eagle on the cover.

Hip Priest, your artwork for the tape I got was very good. I promise I'll get a scan of it, soon.

i'll have to do a mixtape for someone next round. let it happen! (i say to myself)

as promised. the only mixtape one ive got so far is from round 2 by porkmarras.......

Alas I don't have a scanner, or even access to one, so mine will remain seen only by me.

So, my laziness has finally curbed and I've had the oppurtunity to scan the artwork of the two mix tapes I've recieved (Glice and Hip Priest), at a friends house. However, being the negligent, forgetful person I am, I only grabbed the tape I've got from Hip Priest, so Glices will have to wait.
