I'm certainly glad that they're having the fest a bit later this year, so that it falls a week after I finish up at uni. I will make it this time.

hm, yeah i got the email last week or so and i won't be able to attend this time.

last years lineup was perhaps more attractive to me (i got sick on the way/stranded/never made it), and i'll regret missing that more than this year.

i'll save the tricket/travel money for records. i'm very curious about leslie keffer btw, ive read some great reviews of her but haven't had a chance to hear yet.

oh man, i'm crying right now, got exams all through may, to set me up for my future or something equally as mundane.
but i'm guessing there's some sort of age restriction anyway, right?

i asked carlos giffoni about it, and he told me basically that it is technically an 18+ event but minors may be allowed in if accompanied by an adult... but if like a wave of teenies came in with one of them over 18, or with one adult they will likely be turned away. its basically up to the discreation of the venue... not his call.

i am most definatly up for this. anyone got a place to stay in new york?
