Walking shade of billy gorgan and everlasting gaze of smashing pumpkins are still great songs though.

Damn, I ended up watching the video only to find there's no piss-bottle throwing, spitting, etc... on Corgan. But really I don't mind the smashing Pumpkins that much.

Oh, it's great to find others that think Corgan is an ass. I met him once right after Siamese Dream and he just kept his head down and didn't say anything to me. IMO - Gish was an incredible album, but after that it's been one bad album after another...I wrote a blog about the Smashing Pumpkins getting back together and all I keept getting was shit from their fans (my point was enough is enough - we don't need Corgan's attitude, now shitty guitar playing, and plus he's producing Courtney Love's albums...like we need more Courtney Love! Blah!)...it's pretty funny. Thanks for letting me know there are other intelligent listeners out there! :)

My sentiments exactly. You could say the exact same thing about Pink Floyd, now THOSE guys are a bunch of fucking POMPOUS arrogant british ASSES who can't even be in the same room with eachother without resorting to stupid childish semantics. The only time they get along is when they're playing togther and they don't have to talk to each other. But they made great music so everyone loves them. Don't see why it's not the same for the Pumpkins. Siamese Dream is one of the best albums of the 90's.

I always loved Pisces Iscariot too, seems to go right along with Siamese Dream. Hello Kitty Kat is one of my favorite songs of theirs.

I love the Smashing Pumpkins, even if Corgan's a pompous ass. Band kicks much ass, regardless, and his solo stuff isn't terrible.

I hate the term "emo", but whatever, Rites of Spring are now labeled as "emo," and they are fuckin' great. Get-Up Kids are pretty good as well. I could go on.

Mick Jagger pulls it off...Corgan unfortunately doesn't. And isn't Mick Jagger! Actually Mick Jagger, Billy Corgan, whoever...It's tough for me to get into someones music if I know they are a class A jack ass. Same with Sports stars. Call me an idealist, but I expect those with an exorbanant amount of talent and public influence to want to be somewhat of a role model.

I just smoked a joint for the first time in a year and listened to Pisces Iscariot and Siamese Dream for the first time in about a year, on a big hi fi stereo. Good way to start.

Wow I've never noticed thhat song rocket is so cheezy right the very end. It has such a corny Van Halen sounding ending.

yea, i rememmber one late night channel surf landed on MTV news and that group of dicks posing as pricks, panic! at the disco were pretty much syaing"smashing pumpkins did it, and we're doing it to." Everything the guy said about his band was just like 'we wanted to make a big thematic album, like mellon and the infinite sadness.' and they showed clips of thewir show, which is seemingly a live version of the tonight, tonight video.

I used to dig the pumpkins, and ther'es tilla few song si really dig, 'we only come out at night' in particular... but now I get increasingly pissed off the longer i have to hear billy cock-corgan's voice.
