If 'Brave Men Run' was the opening theme of 'Friends'.

I always thought that Brave Men Run sounded like some kind of theme song to a deranged version of some kind of sitcom, so I put this together.
Doesn't it work amazingly? If there's ever a Friends reunion, I'm gonna make them use this opening.

Hahaha yes!

The Earl Of Slander 02.13.2010 12:20 PM

This is really fantastic. Thank you.

dasx 02.13.2010 12:35 PM

Great! I have never before thought it as a theme song of a sitcom, but it really works amazingly.

SuperCreep 02.13.2010 12:38 PM

well, at least i might be able to make it past the intro without shutting it off.

Fun, and I repped you for your creativity. Still, it should be noted that what we have musically is the first 30 seconds of "Intro" and not exactly "Brave Men Run", thus.

Thanks yo. And no way, this is the first bit of "Brave Men Run". Intro is just those jangly ethereal guitars. When the drums finally come in, that's the start of 'Brave Men Run'.

The line was always intentionally blurry, but I don't think that's true. I had Bad Moon on vinyl when it first came out and remember the grooves pretty damn well. Brave Men really doesn't start until after the bubblegummy rock out, which was the "Intro" to the whole album, which of course had no separation between tracks whatsoever.

Tea! This is awesome

Anngella 02.13.2010 04:51 PM

Very nice. And I love Friends.

nancykitten 02.13.2010 05:13 PM

With Friends being set in some kind of playful fantasy New York it makes perfect sense too.

dionysusundone 02.13.2010 05:15 PM

One of my favorite songs as the intro to one of my favorite shows? So IN.
