Bright Eyes-Four Winds EP
 

A friend of mine sent it to me yesterday and I listened to it last night. I loved it. It's much less angsty and most of the songs just make you wanna dance with joy.What do you guys think of it?

Lifted or The Story Is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground was always me favorite. I was thinking of buying Noise Floor the Destryed Room type b-sides & rarities collection. But im not sure

i saw them once. i was so close to conor. now i hate that band with a passion. but i will have a guilty listen now and then...

Why a 'guilty listen'? I'm not necessarly someone you would call a fan of Bright Eyes, but I could care less what the supposed 'cool' kids say if I were a fan.

I really dislike Bright Eyes. Sounds like the "indie" version of Dashboard Confessional. Trite, boring music.

That's the neat thing about this EP. They dropped the angst, it's really refreshing.

Damn, I watched this video and he is a fucking HACK!!! He makes a decent point, but damn Dylan did the same thing, and the riff sounds a bit like a typical Dylan song. He is certainly nothing to get excited about.

yea ive heard that too, he slagged off John Peel while performing on the John Peel stage at glastonbury, saying he was a cunt for not playing his records etc , but to be honest who can blame him, his records are shit.
