So, this guy I kinda know from school killed himself.
 

and nobody knows why. alot of people are really upset (he was pretty popular) including a close friend of mine. i didn't know him very well, but he was in two of my classes and we would chat on occasion.

it's really bizarre to think that he's dead. to know that i'll never see him again ever. i'm not exactly sad, but i'm certainly feeling somber.

Well he wasn't close to you. If you're too affected, it's probably because you're letting yourself be. Weird though, it would be.

It's insane how close you are to...killings and unexpected occurances through knowing people though. A friend of a friend of mine did a school shooting in montreal. My friend was interviewed since she knew him. That was in the group I hung out with last year, I'm very glad I don't anymore. A few of the others in the group were rapists. My friend's girlfriend was raped by one of them too, I would have never thought.

bummer, i have a funeral today to go to for a friend of mine who died. Im really unsure if ill go or not.

one of my teachers collapsed and died infront of the whole school. no one liked him very much so it wasnt that bad but the teachers all thought we where traumatised so we got time off etc.

Maybe the guy you knew had something depressing him that only he knew? It happens my friend.

For sure. The people were so nice and definitely didn't seem like the type of people that would do anything like that, it was shocking to know that they did. I don't go near them anymore, but some of my friends still talk to them, which concerns me. One of the other ones was gay and asked me out one time, and I told him that I didn't go that way. After he continuously talked about partying with me and getting me "too drunk to keep straight". I stopped talking to him as well.

yeah, something happened in his family that really got him bothered. apparently, he left a rather nasty note for them.

his funeral was tonight. i didn't go (i mean, i knew him, but we weren't really friends, i wouldn't have felt right going). the family won't say how he did it, but it was a closed casket, so i can guess that it wasn't the prettiest of sights.
