what images do you get from certain bands? not literal images, more dream type images. this goes on from the merzbow and bondage thing mentioned yesterday. post pics. i always associate the image of sunset and flying with double leopards for example.

I had, quite predictably, the image of a post apocalyptic landscape with machines and destruction during that New Blockaders/Haters show. Quite vivid.

Burzum's "Filosofem" album makes me see the mental image of flying very fast and dangerously low (like less than one meter) over a blackened, barren landscape. Fortunately this landscape is fairly flat as far as the eye can see.

Free City Rhymes is assosciated with aimless days spent wondering around central london.
Smile by The Fall reminds me of when i broke my foot.

My Bloody Valentine

Warmth and bliss. Bright, but not so much as I can't see, but at the same time darkness lurking in a corner somewhere. A beautiful young woman who is mute except for when she sings and her with those few words she bares her soul and caresses and steals mine. Then, that leaves me floating in the warmth, completely free of all thought and sensation other than that of total nothingness.

yes i think forrests/trees for that song too but with the city just beyond, hence central park. also think of steam coming out of the sewers in nyc and sunny days.
