Pasting photos in the posts
 

Please, can someone tell me how do you do guys to paste such big photos in your posts? I can only attach them (they have to be very small) or post the address but only the http appears and not the photo.
Sorry about this dumb question, everybody seems to know how to do this except me.

Hi Muffles!

I assume that you are taking the picture from a website or have it stored on photobucket or something like that. All you need to do is find the url of the photo (e.g. http://sonicyouth.com/alt-main/includes/reena.jpg), then click the icon that looks like a little yellow postcard in the message toolbar and type or paste the url in the box that appears, then click okay.

Basically, where you would usually have a link that starts with url in this type of bracket:[] and ends with /url in the same type of bracket, you'll have one that starts with img in a [] bracket and ends with /img in the same type.

Does that make any sense at all?

Thank you so much, but I've already tried. I think the problem maybe that the only place I got to store photos is the google photo thingy, and that maybe why I can't hot link the photo directly and only the address appears.
I'll try finding that photobucket you talk about.

It worked! :)

you can either put them onto photobucket.com then put them onto here by copy and pasting the url thingy. or you can click on to the picture icon at tht top of this box then put in the www address.
