The New and Improved Bluegrass Thread

I was just starting my morning off by listening to some Bill Monroe and the Blue Grass Boys. "Make a thread," the voice said.

Bluegrass is the music of my childhood (or one of them) - I have some relatives that run a bluegrass barn and I used to go there a lot growing up.

(this is it)

I'm hardly an expert though. Recommend some other good stuff.

I like Peter Rowan although he has a more Western feel. He definately has a great voive. Del McCourey Band has always been great live.

roscoe holcomb is hands down my favorite singer/banjo player. you must give him a listen if you haven't heard him yet.

Though I've never really gotten into bluegrass, it always puts a smile on my face.
