Recommend me...

recommend me a good synthesizer to make noise with. i've seen Lee use it a couple of times and wolf eyes etc. offcourse, so which one wouldn't be too hard to use and sounds great? any help would be great

I know lots of people who do circuit-bening on old crappy ones. I'll see if I can find any sites... one chap I know gets some amazing sounds out of the crappest synths imaginable. Suffice it to say, you don't really need to spend a great deal.

BUMP* hate to do this, sorry

Depends on what you mean by cheap.

the cheapest good quality new synth is the micro-korg it's about $300 I think, it's an analog-modeling synth, which means it's a digital synth but it acts and opperates like an analog synth. I have one it's good for what I use it for, but everybody wishes they had a Moog, but those cost like more than $1000.

Here's what I got. A Realistic Concertmate MG-1. Completely Manufactured by Moog (pretty close to a Moog Rogue) sold at Radio Shack in the early 80's. I got mine in pristine condition from ebay for $350. It's awesome.

Ok... the alternative advise, to clarify my earlier post - http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...t+bent&pl=true

Is what you can get with circuit bending. Google 'circuit bending' and you'll find about a million walk-throughs on how to do it. The advantages are that you can get a noisey type effect super-cheap. It's not that complicated - I'm a techy retard, and I've done it a couple of times to quite pleasing effect - and it is a lot cheaper than getting a Moog. The other advantage is, unlike everyone else who's saving up for a Moog, you have a sound that is entirely your own, and with a little practice, more-or-less completely under your control.
