ive got 2 copies of evol. one that came with bmr - hand numbered in a silver bag and a yellow vinyl limited one but that one was never ever opened... ;)

I have doubles fo a few things. i got the USA and the UK versions of Master DiX
I have two SYR3's, both colored vinyl but one is clear blue and one is opaque blue with sparkles. you can see both in the pic. I have two "Halloweens, one is stamped "promo only"
I have two sassy singles of "personality crisis"
I ahve 2 Death valley 69 7"

BTW, the first EP I have is the double vinyl re-issue.

everything that I do not have on vinyl I have on CD (screaming fields, evol, sister, Confusion, BMR) , but they are much prettier on vinyl.

yeah vinyl just rules.

save them up :D - so i dunno what colour they are, didnt know
there were different ones..

I recently just bought Sister on vinyl with the orignal cover for $35. It was in perfect condition too. The only other album of SY's on vinyl I have though is Sonic Nurse.

I got Evol on vinyl on ebay once. It was in a vinyl lot with other stuff, the Meat Puppets- S/T and a couple others. Got them all for around 30 bucks. You gotta keep your eyes open!

What a waste of money. Why buy old singles of songs you already have on an outdated format unless you want to sell them?

i don't like CDs. i don't like that they are compact (and thus albums released only on CD have limited options in the way of artwork, which is really also part of the album if you ask me which is why i hate when the artwork is half-assed), i don't like that they sound sterile and clinical etc etc. i pawned my CD player. i had a really nice 5 disc changer and i never used it so i sold it. i'd rather have the money so i can buy more records and tapes for my car.

Made in the usa vinyl is one of the top ten funnest things to have on vinyl... takes you to a whole new world... and the format is VITAL in this. too bad it has one of the most anoying sleeves ever. I keep the vinyl in another sleeve... its such a hassel to open and close and get the thing outof

hell yeah it is fucking hassle. The one I have I got as a gift from a friend who had purchased it, was not the biggest sonic youth fan, and just gave it to me when I went to visit him in austin one day.
