my mp3 player is near-dead.
just when i feel like having a drink and listening to spiderland, my piece of shit player decides to just die (or go in a coma, really). stuck on the boot-up screen and won't budge. so i'm going to try and see if the battery will die and recharge while i sit and listen to "web in front" over and over.
how is your night going? |
i suggest getting an Iriver next, can you plug your player into a charger and listen to it that way?
|
i tried a few times but it's just stuck on "zen touch"
do they have 20 gig/plus iriver models? i really like the smaller ones i've seen (i mainly want a zune, though) but i have a lot of music. |
sucks, sorry to hear that schizo!!
night's going good, i might transcribe some interviews or something. yeah, not big on st patricks and people are not keen on going out anyway so, who gives a shit. i want an iriver just because you can record into it. don't know if every model but i know one does. |
i was going to go out but surprisingly there's not a lot of st. patricks stuff going on. usually every restaurant has some small cheesy party/two for one beer deal going on.

yeh the two models i have both record, with pretty decent quality too. |
here, irish bars get clunked with posers paying thrice as much for a guiness.
no thanks. sweet, hope to get me one iriver in the near future. |
the sorta-irish place here just has lame wannabe-guinness and corned beef whatever. i agree. no.
at least now it's officially sunday and it's the 18th. i am one day closer to ted leo. |

g'night schizo!!!
yeah, i'll drive to florida! better yet, i'll hitchhike; i was going to pull an on the road when i was going to see xiu xiu in guadalajara (out of state) but i really couldn't. i'm fucking fainting, i'll hang on for a bit, then perhaps have a smoke then it's bed for me too. |

They usually have a tiny pinhole somewhere so that you can reboot the device. Stick in a needle or broken off guitar string (works for me) into the pinhole and it should start back on normally. I had an Iriver and it was forever doing that to me. Bad batch or something they said. Other than that, they were fantastic machines. I say 'they' because my girlfriend and I both had one each. |
yeh what i love about my iriver is i dont need to use an iriver program to upload them to the player, and i can still listen to them, just need to go into a browser menu.
|
We had a 20GB machine. We went and had a look at some a few months ago and the 20GB is out of manufacturing. Had a look at the 6GB Iriver but it was roughly the same price as the 20GB. So I'm alittle hesitant now. Plus both the store itself and the Iriver company were very unco-operative and wouldn't give a refund on either machines.

iv only had a 5gb and a 6gb, the 5gb battery fucked it self after a year or so but i can still use it if its plugged in, and i have had this 6gb since xmas and its pretty sweet.

What a coincidence. My iPod i've had for nearly two and a half years totally died today! :( I had a good amount of my music backed up, including (thank god) all my sonic youth, but what am i going to do until i can afford a new one? we had a good run, though. rest in peace my little iPod.

Woah, global consiracy.
Mines starting to die to. When I turn ot on it on goes to the error menu and I have to do tnat about 4 times before it works and then when It does play it stops sometimes during songs for about 10 seconds. Piece of shit and just when I'm about to go away! Cunt. IPOD FTL |

Hehe, it's from another forum. If it sucks-For the lose. If it's good-For the win
