So does ANYONE watch MTV anymore?
 

Not to be ashamed of it or anything. It used to be a decent channel back in the day, started to suck around 97 or so. I just read an article that it's ratings are in the toilet or something, and they are struggling. I don't know ANYONE who watches it anymore, even some of the teenie boppers who work at my job.

the other day i tried watching that "im from rolling stone" show and it was thwe dumbest shit ever!

I didn't have much hope for that show, honestly. I've taken journalism classes and they were also the dumbest shit ever. So it only makes sense.

speaking of MTV and videos, the blur video (from which i take my milk carton) is my favorite video but it's so sad because little milky dies...but he goes to heaven because he was a genuinely good-hearted milk carton.

I've told my entire family to start taping secret footage of me in hopes that they will catch me on my bad days, and send the tape off to What Not To Wear. A makeover would be fun, but mostly I just want to meet Stacy and Clinton. I feel like they are my long lost best friends. I'm finding it hard to think of two people on television right now who are funnier than they are.

This is brilliant.
I already know everything they would critique me on. The main thing being that despite having a closet full of clothes, I have maybe three outfits that I actually wear on a regular basis. And I think Carmindy would be especially appalled by the redness around my eyes.

i somtimes watch mtv hits to see what the hell is popular, sometimes they show trl there, and sometimes they show MI trl (latino version of the show, yet somehow everyone speaks english on it).

as far as the real mtv, i have this really weird facination with next, i don't know why but everytime i'm flipping the channels and it's on, i have to watch it and i do until it's over. maybe it's the fakeness of it, i don't know, i didn't even liked dismissed.

anyhoo, here, every once in a while they flip out and show beavis and butthead.

Some say it became irrevelent when they cancelled "Headbanger's Ball" I say it became irrevelent when they cancelled "120 Minutes", they brought back HBB, but "Subterranan" isn't "120 Minutes", I still miss that show.

headbanger's ball isn't headbanger's ball; before, you had ricki ratchman and they played pantera and morbid angel and slayer along with like poison and mötley crüe, now it's just emoscreamonuthrash like bullet for my valentine and trivium with a slight hope of watching mastodon or something a little worthwhile, all hosted by that poser from hatebreed, they do have cool guests though.

about two or three years ago, they brought 120 minutes back to mtv latin america, from 1 to 3 in the morning, they played stuff like low and the locust along with a shitload of emo along with interpol and white stripes and the like (one of every ten videos was actually something 'alternative').
