I might be. Sometimes I hear someone speak my name when nobody else is around. It freaks the shit out of me.

that's not schizophrenia. those are real demons!

i am officially paranoid schizophrenic. i hear voices in the sounds of footsteps.

i blame pot. there are genetic factors too. my dad used to hear voices
in the sounds of trains when he lived near the railroad.

i read there is a schizophrenic character in a new abc show 'dirt.' anyone see this?

sorry, no tv. officially paranoid schizophrenic? thats impressive-- i mean, most paranoid schizophrenics don't post on the internet or discuss their symptoms. do you mind if i ask how is living with it? not being nosy, i truly have interest on the subject.

I hope I never pull an Ivan Karamazov.

schizophrenia for me means lack of motivation. that is one of the symptoms.
i've been through delusions, paranoia and voices but I am happy to say they have all gone away.

_slavo_ 03.30.2007 02:14 AM

I ain't no schizo. Fortunately. I've got enough demons to deal with.

wow, good for you, congrats, & best wishes.

years & years ago i saw a documentary about 8 different women dealing with schizophrenia. at the end of the movie this one woman looks at the camera & says "this is for you dr. ---- who said i'd never be able to accomplish anything". well clearly the whole audience was moved and everyone applauded--- i've never forgotten that.

i'll see if i can find a link & post...

DIALOGUES WITH MADWOMEN

well apparently my recollection wasn't so precisely accurate (it was 7 women not 8) & not all were schizophrenic but there you go.

apparently it's hard to find though.
