I am severely depressed about this
My hero, my favorite author, my surrogate father is gone.

My mom told me this morning while I was in the shower. Bummer. I've only read Slaughterhouse-Five, though.

Vonnegut is pretty tough for me. His stuff is short but its not easily understood. I've read two of his novels. "Slapstick" and "Mother Night". Both of which I found to be quite confusing, I've heard the same about "Slaughter-House Five". I respect him, and think he's pretty original, but can be a tough read.
