If someone told you they counted 13 Songs as an album and ranked it far and away as the best Fugazi album, what would you think?

Conversely, if someone ranked 13 Songs last, what would you think?

Also how would you rank the Fugazi albums, if you wanna

Fugazi: Everything wrong in the known universe is contained within this bands music i.e. Funk. I wanted to say this yesterday but didn't want to get the thread off to a negative start. lel

Probably not the consensus around here, but I’ve always found the music of this band to be the equivalent of being thrown a week old bagel after crossing the Sahara on foot.

Fugazi’s great, but this was dumb. Bad, dumb severian.

Anyway, 13 Songs is probably near the back end of I had to rank their discography and was counting it as an album.

I like 2 of their albums a lot and none of the others at all. Live I found them disappointing. And their tour movie is really dull.

None of that is as bad as the opera made entirely from the between song chat of fugazi live shows.

I would think they have good taste in music and leave it at that, because semantics in art is dumb.

I like maybe three or four songs. Respect them as a band but can't really say I care about them. Sorry, can't help much.

I think Argument, End Hits, Red Medicine and In On the Kill Taker are all pretty goddamn perfect. Actually, Repeater as well. So that’s 5.

13 Songs (excellent but not an album, technically)
Instrument (despite being a soundtrack and demo compilation, this thing Fucking cranks and I love it.)

Probably ranks among my favorite discographies ever, because there are truly no bad or even mediocre projects here.

To be fair, it would be hard to distinguish which band is funkier

Fugazi rules. They have like 4 PERFECT albums and I count 12 songs as one.

Damn, that’s cool. They’re one of the few bands on my “hey this band is a band I’ve loved for most of my life” list that I never was able to see.

For a guy who seemingly likes about three bands and that's it this surprises me.
