Nothing more to say. They're a drug. Can't stop listening to them. I want to see them again, no matter that I saw them last Wednesday.
Well okay, other !!! fans here? |
I don't own any of their albums, so I can't say "this song is great" or "you gotta check out this album," but I have listened to them and they are pretty quality :)

Yeah, I like their recent album pretty much and keep listening to it on my ways home from work, when I'm in a good mood (i.e. not very often :) ) |
I have been listening to them for years now. never got to see them pefform. they do niot come near texas. I love all their shizzety but have not yet bought the new album
|
'myth takes' is probably my favorite album in a long time. it makes me shake my shit all over the place.
i've been wanting to post about !!! here for a while, but was afraid that somebody'd eat my lunch. |
hahah! I ahve posted about !!! here before AND had someone eat my lunch!
shit sheize merde! |
Last one is really nice, much much much better than the others. Wonder if they can deliver a good live show. Hard to see them ehre in italy, probably...
|
Is their new one really that good?? I have Louden Up Now, which I really like, just don't listen to that often.
|
The new one has more proper "songs", it's more focused imo, much better produced and less boring. It's a personal opinion, "louden up now" imo had some really good tracks but some were way too long/diluted, "Myth takes" is more "to the point". :)
|
agreed!
|
also, has anyone heard their cover of nate dogg's "get up"? it's ballin'.
|
i've liked them for years, but never enough to force my hand/wallet. i think they might even be an inspiration for my username, though i intended something more brutal. ha ha. but anyway, what have they been up to lately? any recent albums i should listen to? ???
|
I don't like !!!, like... no hooks, annoying rapping over music (yes, rapping). Just not my cup o' joe
|
!!! are awesome live. You can't NOT dance when they're on stage.

rapping? if their singer raps, then so does kim gordon. and the new album has hooks galore. |
I think the new album is different from Louden Up Now. Louden Up Now had a certain "unity", I mean all tracks were in the same style, with massive bass lines, groovy singing. On Myth Takes, on the contrary, they tried more things, more psychedelic (Myth Takes, Break In Case Of Anything), disco-like singing sometimes (Heart of Hearts), etc. I even find that beginning harmonics of A New Name sounds like the one in Shadow of a Doubt.
Well, I love both as much. The first one is not as good, but he still have great songs, it's too a great record. I saw them live twice, and they're even better than on studio, they're just awesome, especially Nic Offer, everywhere on stage at the same time. |
