I don't mind that band despite all the criticism they get, but that guy is one of the worst lyricists ever. Best not to pay attention.

Definitely. The lyrics are even worse on the 2nd album. I remember reviewing it when it came out and listening to the lyrics. They were all really childish and all about love. Boring. I can't tell what he is saying on the first album. . . maybe that is why I like it better.

interpol are a fine fine band. bright lights is a great record and antics is ok, slow hands is a good song tho. the lyrics for the whole antics album were written just before recording started. that probaly explains why they suck so much!

interpol dont deserve the amount of flak they get. people just lump em in with the killers and the like....

I know I've been a real big interpol fan.
I like them a lot even though a lot of members here beg to differ.

The first record is OK, the second one is not as good.

I think Stella is an awesome song (even if I understand nothing to the lyrics...).

I really like their lyrics. I hate sappy love songs as much as anyone else, but Interpol really has great way to create a romantic atmosphere in their songs.

I'm an intepol fan. My oppion is this: That the first record was a masterpiece - the second was lacking something but still some really good songs - for the third I'm hoping they'll stop using the same tricks.

They are pretty over rated, but they are better than decent. I used to have Turn on the Bright Lights but I sold it. I still have the music somewhere though.

as i said i love interpol but i saw em live and they sucked. i thought i was unlucky and then saw them on leno orletterman or something an they sucked even more........ to behonest im not expectingmuch from the new album, tha way i can only be impressed!
