I'm doing a mix for someone, so i need some suggestions. Please, no Smiths's songs or anything too goth-like. It doesn't matter if they are instrumentals, for as long as they refer to the subject in the title. Thanks yous.

Thanks. Nurse With Wound and Current 93 are definitely on my list. Tricky's cover of ' Black Steel' has a suffocating feeling about it too, so he will be taken into consideration.

I cheated and used Google. Apparently Tommy Dorsey died of choking to death in his sleep in 1956. So that seems pretty essential. Possible songs that might work: "Mr. Ghost Goes to Town", "If My Heart Could Only Talk", or just "I'm Getting Sentimental Over You" for obvious recognition.

That's also how Hendrix went in 1970 (obviously from different inducements) a lot of possibilities on that one too: "Night Bird Flying", "Are You Experienced?", "Cry of Love", "Manic Depression"

If you're going to be obsessive enough to seek out sound bites, this comes from a Wikipedia entry of MASH quotes:
