Circuit Bending
 

Okay, I'm doing a project for school about this. Tell me, is this a good idea for a project? Or should I do a project about how weather affects people ?
Its a free-style project and I can do anything, suggestions are welcome...

now, anyone who wants to help me with this subject, pm me or post here.

What exactly you have to do. I know is a freestyle one, but what rules did your teacher set up.

Rules-It has to follow the 'areas of interaction' which are-
aproaches to learning
homo faber-making something
health & social
environment
community & service

Those are the 5 things, and the project has to focus on one of those, it pretty fucked up.

Give some suggestions, but I think I'll do the circuit bending one...

It basically just creating/making shit, like models robots and shit...

Oh ok, make a sound modulator. Or a microphone, that can change the voice.

I have no idea, just thinking names here.

But in all seriuosness, try to do something that makes music, like those little irobots.

thats what circuit bending is man. Making noise with random circuits and then wiring them with switches to make pedals.

Thread revival. Has anyone done this before? Any tips?

Has anyone ever thread revivaled before? Sure.

Have I ever circuit bended? Of course.

Tips? Buy alligator clips and then just connect wire to circuit boards on cheap instruments and pedals. You'll usually produce a few neat sounds. I dunno. It's kinda fun but you usually can't get anything that special besides fart sounds. CASIO SK-1's are good to bend, but I wouldn't dare fuck with the one I got for a dollar at a yard sale in fear that i'll have to buy another.

The "Worms Making Music II" one was pretty wild, to be sure.
