Help Please - iTunes has deleted all my tracks from its library
 

I've turned my laptop back on and I've lost all the songs from my iTunes. The files themselves are still there and I can bring them back onto iTunes one by one but you know... there's 4000 of them spread over all sorts of folders and drives... it would take a tedious week or so. I've tried importing my library but "it cannot be imported. You do not have enough access priveleges for this operation".

I'm redownloading iTunes to see if that does the job. I've only got one two-and-a-half minute song on the library now and I feel like a 12 year old for being so musically limited.


Can anyone suggest anything?
