As long as they dont do anything to rub your face in it once you feel like youre beginning to get over it.

Being sad is not interesting at the moment. Don't want to be such a misery, but I just want to be cheered up. But funny music is not good. I just get pissed off at all the happy people.

Sorry, it's The Crane Wife, by the Decemberists. Anything by them, or The Power Out by Electrelane would be my choice. Or Beck's last one.

The Vaselines- The COmplete History. Makes you feel good. I know it has right now, that I broke up. MMMh what else... DOn't know what else.... Oh Fake Can Be Just as Good Blonde Readhead.

Ah, Vaselines. They're one of those bands that remind me of a girl that I got rejected by.

They make me sad in an uncool way now.

If you REALLY want to wallow, you can't go wrong with the Go-Betweens.

How can they make you sad, Dum-Dum always makes me to want to dance, and sir I am a horrible dancer.

Sebadoh's Bakesale has a good balance of anger ("Not Too Amused," "Drama Mine"), saddness ("Not A Friend," "Together or Alone"), and optimism ("Rebound," "Skull"). Perfect for break-ups.

Love ruins albums, man. It's all "what could have been" when I listen to them.

Oh I see, but god they are amazing. I like Teenage Superstars, Hairy. GOd this album is great also You Think You Are a Man, I had to relisten to that song, to see if I was listening to it correctly, that one blew me away, especially at the end when they put the two sounds together.

I was going to say "anything by the cure" but i misunderstood the question.

What is this album like? I see it cheap... well cheapish and I often contemplate buying it.
