Bahaha that was so funny. I watched the whole show (actually, no, i was on here, but my mom watched it). They were all either gay, shemales, or goths. Like Ukrain WTF??? tin foil dressed drag queens.

My country won. Which is really sad, considering that was shit.

I didn't watch it. Unusual for me. But I was in protest. Because Scooch are absolutely fucking awful. There's a great interview with them here where the interviewer has a bit of a go at them for being shit.

Quite why Girls Aloud didn't enter is beyond me.

Ukraine were by far and away the best (funniest) thing about the whole event. Them and the girl in the pink dress backstage.

haha i was flicking through the channels and that was the only act i saw, had a good dance with my mates in the living room.

i was laughing along with this farse when the stupid cable decides to fuck off and when it got fixed, the show was over. this is one of the funniest things to experience every year.

the russian girls were really hot, though.

It's one of the reasons why i think that gay men have become useless at both music and fashion. The contest itself is inoffensive enough, but it seems to propagate bad taste in a semi-ironic fashion that is just out fashion.

i wanted Georgia to win, either them or greece.

i'm thinking that half the joke is seeing it from outside of europe.

we, here in the new world, tend to have really awful things get passed on as music and music events, in really bad taste and really half-assed. seeing eurovision, we understand that it's not a thing of a third world way of thinking or colonialism or any of that crap, that bad things tend to get followed by the masses and be taken seriously regardless of how ridiculous it really is.

it also makes us feel that we are not alone, whether it's eurovision, american idol or whatever; poor taste is golden.

i thought bulgaria was half decent. moldavia had a really good representative 2 or 3 years ago. i dont lose any sleep over the voting though.

I just heard on television a man seriously complaining, that the Song Contest (as we call it) has become a forum for the Ex Eastern Bloc states (analogous). And further, they would only vote for each other.
