I'm looking forward buying one of his symphonies, but I just don't know which one I should get... I'm going to download them all to see which one I prefer, I think, I already heard the 3 and the 5 of which I prefer the 5... Which one would you recommend me?

My favourite is 3, followed by 1.

1 and 2 are my favs.

2 is the one with Z'ev, isn't it? His contribution spoils it for me - it seems to be in the wrong place in the mix.

Number 1 is my favourite.

See, I think 2 hits better emotional peaks, but it has that kitchen thing that is hard to listen to. So, while 1 isn't as good, it is more consistent. So, that's why I vote 1...

I can yousendit the atavistic recording Branca Selections from the symphonies. it has exceprts from 2 6 5 8 and 10.

A friend of mine refers to Z'ev as "the cunt with the dustbins".

I also love world looks upside down.Not a symphony, but best Branca song has to be "bad smells"...
