I was watching the Simpsons, and they were making fun of themselves.

I love how Groening takes hits at them and gets away with it. Or perhaps they do indeed do it themselves to hide the fact that theu are pure evil.

I liked the ending of the second episode, the first one was funny too.

I doubt Fox cares if Groening takes a swipe at them. Groening is preaching to the choir pretty much with his digs at Fox. Those barbs aren't going to bring down the Murdoch empire and if they know that censoring Groening would be bad PR. Besides, The Simpsons makes them mucho $$$$ so the jokes on Groening if he hates Fox so much.

I liked the part, how Lisa says how fox shows raunchy shows on regular, and then they preach something else on fox news.

Plus, if FOX takes it seriously, and tried to prevent it ,they would look worse.

True, anyways, I think Fox has always made fun of themselves. On Married with Children for example. When they first started they made fun of themselves because they had bad reception.

Except he is making a shit load of money too

I think there are a few stabs at Fox in Futurama.

Fry: "Wow, this is a real television station?"
TV dude: "Well, it is a Fox affiliate."

Fry: *spills beer*
TV dude: "Oh my god, you knocked Fox off the air."
Fry: "Like anyone on Earth cares."

I think that is how they stay afloat, they don't take themselves too seriously like other networks.

So many shows do that, comedies usually though. Scrubs has done it a few times and Family Guy as well.
