Do you know any good ones?

I do not care for this trend.
You know you're in trouble when a cover band like "Australian Pink Floyd" sells out huge venues and gets full concerts featured on American Public Television.

No indie jokes, please. I do not care for them either. Just curious, that's all.

There is a Sisters of Mercy tribute band out there somewhere called "Sisters of Murphy".

Forthcoming dates:

5th August 2007, The Basement, Leeds. 10th Anniversary Gig.
7th October 2007, The Limelight, Crewe.
27th October 2007, No 10 Dickens Bar, Rotheram.

Glice mentioned Gabba (Ramones+ Abba), a while ago.

We had one in town called "Metallagher" that did old-skool Metallica fronted by a Gallagher impersonator.

There's a dutch AC/DC tribute band.
Funny as hell I saw them twice (for free, I would never pay the suckers to see it).
They're called ACtion in DC.

I once found a band that made dub versions of Radiohead songs but I forgot their name and the myspace...
Too bad it was quite interesting.

Jive Like Jehu.
Actually they don't really exist, but imagine if they did.

That's ridiculous...

The worst tribute band I've ever heard is Dread Leppelin, white dudes playing the whitest reggae versions of Zeppelin songs.

sarramkrop 05.23.2007 08:49 AM

Oh, them! They are shite.

atsonicpark 05.23.2007 09:21 AM
