One Dylan Album (with a gun to yr head)

Zimmy fans: I'm not sure what sadistic fuck would do this, but assume someone has a gun to your head and tells you that you can only listen to ONE Dylan record for the rest of your life. Which one? Why?

You've got over 40 records to choose from.

(Of course, if you hate Dylan, you may just ask them to squeeze the trigger.)

Me? What would I choose? Fuck, I dunno. It's a stupid question...

You must spread some tone deaf yodelling around before giving it to PAULYBEE2656 again.

Kyohan 05.26.2007 03:04 PM

Bringing It All Back Home, with Blood on the Tracks a close runner up.

MellySingsDoom 05.26.2007 04:03 PM

How do you expect me to choose at least one album by Dylan Nyoukis? I dunno, really...

Bollocks_to_Pop 05.26.2007 04:08 PM

Blonde on Blonde with Highway 61 close behind.

cryptowonderdruginvogue 05.26.2007 04:17 PM

Highway 61 Revisited

jonathan 05.26.2007 05:37 PM

Highway 61 Revisited.

Well I have Planet Waves in my record player right now.

As much as I love Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisted, and the rest of his earlier stuff, I'd say I'd have to pick an album like Planet Waves, New Morning, John Wesley Harding.

The great thing about Dylan is that he has many albums one can live with for the rest of one's life without craving any other music, so either which of those one chooses, chances are slim he's gonna regret the choice later (unless he/she chose 'Knocked Out Loaded' by cause of the stress of having to decide this at gunpoint).

I'd go for Blood on the tracks.

and this is exactly the kind of myopia (or is it mental retardness) dylan fans display that makes it hard to actually like bob dylan's good music (which isn't that much considering the number of awful things he has released).

you must spread musically trascendent noise around before giving it to MellySingsDoom again.

dylan nyoukis > bob dylan

"I can't imagine so many people enjoying that sort of pain."
-Dylan, in reference to the popularity of Blood on the Tracks.
