i know this has been threaded before but i got to hear th album in its entirety today and its excellent. real vegetarian restaurant musak. chilled , slightly smoky and funky...

My curiosity got the better of me on this one.
As soon as I see vinyl of this, I buy.
Their older instrumental collection, "The In Sound From Way Out," has long been a favorite and I'm so glad they made an all-new record of this type.
Very impressed.

ah the old stereolab album rip off... strange that they toured with the lab prior to the release of that one...

I saw it as more of a Gershon Kingsley ripoff, but yeah.

Does it sound like thier insturmental stuff from "Check Your Head" and "Ill Communication"?

kinda but they always seemed like fillers... this is much more rounded.

I'm disappointed it doesn't sound like Killing Joke the way they promised. But I'm sure it's probably still pretty good.

but i wanna sing with the beastieeeeeeeesssssss!
