It's cool news but Prince is rubbish now, even though I'd see him play live any day.

I liked that last single ("Blsck Sweat"?) quite a lot, but as you said the main "thing" here is to see them live.

Perhaps rubbish because he really needs his Revolution.

he's done good post-Revolution stuff, though. he has hits and misses just like everyone else.
