Which of these two albums do you prefer?

I personally prefer Pornography. It has such great clashes of guitars with the drums.

Pornography. It's the only Cure album I have any time for actually.

Does anyone like their near-synth pop duo era that followed Pornography...you know, Let's Go To Bed...Japanese Whispers...I love that shit too. Bizarre to go from Pornography to that fairly quick.

actually the only cure i can even half-way listen to now is 3 imaginary boys.

Disintegration. Pornography is great too, but I think you have to be in the mood to listen to it entirely (its darkness can be a bit heavy).

Yes, I really like Let's go to bed, The lovecats, Just one kiss and Lament. I'm not a fan of The walk though.

It seems the darkness of the Pornography era was so heavy that they needed to really depart from it for the band to survive.

Going with Disintegration.

I heard an acoustic version of The Walk, could've been on Unplugged...that was unexpected and it sounded really good.

Yes it's surely the Unplugged version, and I also think it sounds better than the original.
