Classic Album #16: Exile on Main St.
 

It's probably cliche to gush over this album, but so what, I love this album.

pure genius from the second it starts til' the second it ends

Never got into it. Don't know why.

Best Stones.

I prefer Sticky fingers. Let it loose is one of my favourite Stones song though.

No, really, I do.

Hmm. Yeah, some good stuff on there. Miss You, Whip, Shattered, Respectable, Before they Make me Run, Imagination... Good stripped down band sound. But it's not as gigantic as Exile.

I have to admit, I go back and forth. They're companion albums, almost. It's interesting that for those two albums the Stones became this magnificent American R&B band, complete with horns and a virtuoistic bluesy guitar player.

Aftermath is my favorite stones expirience. I'll try this one some time
