Pinhead is a very very nasty little man. Hellraiser gave me a lot of ssleepless nights.

Hmmm, on a second thought I'd go for Hannibal too, I voted thinking about the "horror/scary" effect rather than on the characters' "virtues"... Lecter is probably scarier because he got brains.. By the way, I add as an honorable mention Theodore Bagwell.

i liked freddy's lines, he always had the best sense of humour and a cool sweater. i also like the chains and leather of pinhead and the gang.

I remember mentiong Iago from Orthello in the Shakespeare thread but there's probably one I like more that I can't think of at the moment.

haha, I felt so cheated when I found out it wasn't based on a true event.

Michael Myers has to win this, because they never really humanized him, he was a figure, a shape, the bogeyman.
