thats the day-after after-party, what about after the show after-party? or is thurston announcing it from the stage?
I highly doubt thurston would announce that sort of thing in front of like 2000 people.
he did last year, at the end of the show(the yeah yeah yeahs- sy gig). it was at union pool, he told everyone to go there after the show. i couldnt make it but some people here could confirm this for sure.
hum i just checked their myspace and theres nothing scheduled there that day... http://www.myspace.com/unionpool |
Hey New Yorkers, you should go and support Smells Like Records. While you at it try to bring us some news on the forthcoming SYRs. :)
is steve gonna bring some to the living room?
http://smellslikerecords.com/slr/ umm, im assuming some people are gonna go to tv on the radio? it should still leave enough time to get to the living room by 8 pm or so. or punk fest in tompkins square... which one you think will be better? http://tsplive.org/ |
you new yorkers have very tuff decisions to take. :)
so did anybody go? |
No :( went to TV On the Radio and was dead tired. I wanted to go though...
I went - Chris Lee is awesome. Great set. Didn't stick around for the other bands cuz it was a long weekend.
i didnt go either, i was just too out of it with all the music, i went to tv on the radio from 3pm on, and saw the opening bands as well (celebration was great). and i went to suicide friday night at south street seaport. so, just too much music.
Too much music is one of those things you don't see yourself saying until its sunday night and your shoes are soggy from the rain, your back's starting to hurt from all the standing and the only thing really keeping you going strong is a strong coffee.
