What Bands Would You Wish Reunited and Toured ?
If you could pick four bands to reunite and tour who would they be ?
The catch is they cant be reunited if one of the members is dead so obviously no beatles, sex pistols, minutemen, nirvana or the velvet underground. with that said I'd choose: Husker Du Soundgarden Wipers Syd-era Pink Floyd (provided there was some way that he's ale to play the way he did in the 60s) |
right now i can think in Pavement...

Lou Barlow, Murph, and J Mascis re-united, made up, and toured and rocked and are still at it! rocking forth their inhumanly loud skronk for the people, teaching the kids what it used to be like when all we did was eat and fuck. I love you dinosaur. |

Faith No More Misfits with Danzig Operation Ivy Sex Pistols already reunited and Sid Vicious wasn't thier orginal bassist. |

except for bitch magnet, who i don't know, your picks are excellent. |
Beatles and the Ramones, although I don't think it's a gonna happen.
Other than that, I would love to see the Talking Heads, Feelies and English Beat get back on the circuit. Oh what fun!!!! |
I'd give both my legs for Galaxie 500 to reform, even if it was just once.

This is a great list. I'm not so into Bitch Magnet, but would kill to see Loop! I got to open for High Rise once; it was one of the best shows I've ever seen! |
I was going to say the Jesus and Mary Chain, The Smiths and the Bambi Slam, but to be honest I'd be scared it wouldn't be the same.
Would it be like a past-glory revelling Rolling Stones situation? Would they end up just doing old stuff? Would new stuff be as good? The memory of a good band gone is a special thing in itself, to be cherished. |
