Radio is a lot of fun, especially if you get to play what you want to play.

I had a pirate radio gig for about 5 weeks, this past winter--and then FCC goonies busted the station! Played and said literally anything the fuck I wanted

Then this summer I had a college radio gig where I had to pull it in a bit, but it was still a blast. Even though there was a "format," I basically ignored it and played just about whatever I felt like playing.

The show got canceled & I was soooo disappointed

Are you serious, cancelled? That sucks. I've always wondered, what does it take to get on WRFL? I mean, it's a great station and all, but sometimes it seems like they aren't as picky as they should be? I'm not downplaying your getting on there, don't get me wrong, I am just curious :)

no kidding, I decided to listen, didn't think too much of the tunes that old guy was playing, load of prog rock or something.

Yeah all you have to do is sign up nothing to it but you're sure to some 3:00 am slot. I want to get a show going in the future whe I get stuff. & yeah it's been going down from what I heard some new people are running the station.
