Even better! The First Original Silence hits some improv strides that are mind melting. When I first heard it I thought "FINALLY a free jazz improv album with Thurston that I can totally groove too and not just space out!"

It's a must have!

Its good but i still think the Dream Aktion Unit's Blood Shadow Rampage has the First Original Silence beat.

I just got the first the other day - haven't given it a good listening yet.

Just listened to Dream Aktion Unit's Blood Shadow Rampage and I see what you mean, but I'm still going with Original Silence. Simply because the emotional vibe I had off that on first listen was a lot more intense than DAU. I don't know why but it happened. DAU is KILLER though!
