First Night in my new place.
 

I'm moving to South Minneapolis from NE Minneapolis.

Moving sucks.

My thighs are all bruised from carrying my records.

I always find it weird sleeping in a different place. To me that is the worst part of moving.

I like moving. Gives me a chance to start fresh in a new environment. It's also a good way of getting rid of rubbish.
Good luck, and don't forget to bend down correctly, when picking up heavy stuff.

this is an odd question, I know, but my best friend used to live there. I've been trying to get him to post here because he loves to argue with people over music and such.

I told him that there were people Minneapolis that posted here and he wants to know:

do you know "Dirty Al" (a couchsurfer) or "Lorna Doone" (like the cookie)?

I told him that he was crazy and everybody doens't know everybody else (like he seems to), but I promised that I'd ask.



either way, hauling records sucks ass. I've carried my collection across the country and back enough times to never want to do it again. good luck.

I guess thats a part of us right now, I have to move this Thursday. I had place but the landlord gave it to someone else after I gave her a 400.00 dollar deposit. I got my money back, I have a new place to look @ today. & yes moving does suck!!!

Moving's a drag. I'm going to be living at two places soon. My parents live pretty far from my school, so I'm spending a lot of time at my friend's apartment becuase it's much easier access. I'll be paying rent once I get a new job, so it will be a pain to pay, but worth the escape of my parents.

I've been carrying everything in my tiny ass saturn...I had a friend help with my bed in his minivan...It'll be at least 10 trips back and forth before I'm done.

what i hate about moving is running into the ghosts of murder victims from years past. have you contacted your local exorcist yet?

I'm moving tommorrow, I just found a one bedroom for 375.00 I'm so stoked. The place needs a little cleaning which I can totally do & a new fridge, but it's ok. I almost had to bash my former housemate yesterday for getting slick out the mouth but I manage to keep my cool & not put my dinner in his face.

2 days in the new place & it's awesome!!! My family is coming from Fl for the weekend & they're bringing my stuff, totally fucking rules!!!

Hehe, I'm moving out as well, from Gatineau to Montreal. I have the last of my things packed now, and I'm really looking forward to it. But yes, moving things does suck (especially moving a large cabinet or mattress up 4 flights of stairs).

I was going to hit him or smear the rest of my plate of food on his face. I'm glad that's done.
