Boise.

New York
Remember which American band came from there; without them, there'd be no SY board! |
New York, but thinking London as well.
|
Have you noticed I've never been impressed with all your friends from New York and London?
|
New York is horrible.
Never been to London. |
Impossible to say and a bit silly to compare them to eachother. Both cities are great to visit or live in.

Raised in EN WHY SEA!!! Always!!!
|
this thread makes me want to visit neither....but i shall end up in nyc eventually methinks....
|
Los Angeles!
|
New York- and yeah I just spent all day in London, I went to covent garden, trafalgar square, westminster... but NYC does not compare in the slightest. Totally different league altogether.
|
London has more variety than NY, has more of a sense of a living city. NY is far better value though, and if you're looking simply to enjoy yourself, the Big Apple wins hands down.

because it is so spread out it feels really diverse - i never feel like i am in a massive city when i'm in hammersmith and fulham, or even islington, for example. nyc seems more compact, but i've never been there so i could be totally wrong. |

they don't speak english in england? |

Yes we do, but gmku, the sly devil, was referring to the huge influx of immigrants London has experienced recently. |
New York for sure. It's appeal by far out weighs London, for me.
