looking over their discography, i think the whitey album actually is the only sonic youth album i haven't listened to (besides some solo stuff; i've heard all of lee's.. i haven't heard thurston's new thing or some of his side projects. i've never heard free kitten).

you're missing out some goodies, then.

i've heard the two songs on screaming fields, at least, and they.. hmm.. not really my thing.. but... i'm sure there's some good stuff on there. i'll check it out.

that reminds me.. i made a list the other day of my top 10 sonic youth albums.. can't believe i forgot to put made in usa on there.. i love that album.

"Macbeth" is reason enough to listen to the whitey album.
