It's cheaper through Dischord, 'pumpkin.

Do they take PalPal and post to Australia?

Pax Americana 09.15.2007 08:04 PM

I got it. It's cool. There's some really cool early shots of the band where Guy and Ian are going fucking nuts on stage. There's a couple of little essays about the band thrown in too. If I could go back in time and see one band before they broke up, it would be Fugazi. I never got to see them and it kills me.

Not sure about paypal, but I assume they do.
As for postage to Australia, they sure do.

They're on hiatus. They haven't officially broken up.

Yeah, I know. But can we really expect them to ever get back together? I seriously doubt it. Although I'd be the happiest person in the world if they did.

Norma J 09.15.2007 08:29 PM

Maybe. It's a possibility. Any time soon? Probably not.

k-krack 09.15.2007 08:32 PM

There's nothing really barring them from getting "back together," as they broke up for family reasons... I still feel like they're a functional band, probably just severe denial, because The Argument is one of the best albums I have ever heard, and it's a super-personal album too.

Norma J 09.15.2007 08:47 PM

What is the status of Fugazi?

Currently Fugazi is on an indefinite hiatus and has no plans to tour or record. This may be a permanent condition, it may not -- only time will tell. In the meantime the Fugazi band members remain busy...

- Dischord.

k-krack 09.15.2007 09:21 PM

I know:(. I just refuse to accept it.
I'm almost positive they won't do anything again.

It's a book of photographs taken by Friedman. As far as I know, it's basically all photos... maybe with some explanations of some pictures??? I want to buy it...

Cantankerous 09.15.2007 09:27 PM

Here's an interview (or more like a retranscription of two radio show interviews with Guy Picciotto and Gen Friedman given in August) about the book.

You can listen to the whole show here (it includes past interviews with the other Fugazi members,Fugazi songs played live) :

(the date was 8/29...Guy's interview was scheduled at 8 AM, Glen's at 7 AM)

Oh and here's the official website about the book :

Cheers, fellow Fugazi fan.

I'll try and give the links a listen when I get a chance.
