About a year ago if was reported that Kim Deal was working on a new Breeders album with Steve Albini. Anyone have any idea what's going on with this? It seems to have disappeared off the radar..

Probobly the same thing that happened to the new Pixies, a great idea in concept, and then getting everyone in the same room to agree on ANYTHING was a damn near impossiblity, even the Smashing Pumpkins couldn't do it, so we got "The New Smashing Pumpkins".

Yeah this is pretty spot on. But I doubt The Breeders are as dysfunctional as The Smashing Pumpkins.

I still rock that record occassionally.

I hope they do make a new album and I hope it turns out to be good...

I really enjoyed Mountain Battles, although I know, especially from this forum, it didn't get the most positive feedback. So, I'm really looking forward to this EP and hope they release another album shortly. "Spark" is an insane track!

What is their best album? I wanna get one. I've heard Cannonball and I like it.

"pod" is the only one worth getting. They all have an enjoyable song or two but "pod" is great from beginning to end.

i'm excited about a new ep. Safari was genius and Head to Toe was brilliant too. Just hope i can find it in this shell of a town
