Bee Bee's Song
Thurston's re-using the chorus from Bee Bee's Song in Trees Outside the Acadamy in a really cool way. That riff needed to come out into the light again.
which is funny, becuz he took the "bee-bee's song" riff from "see-through playmate"!
Really? I don't quite hear it, but I guess yr right. It must be played in a completly different rythm tho? Are you talking about the chorus from "Bee Bee's Song"? Which part of "See-Through..." are you referring to?
sy are always reprising bits and pieces. the diamond sea is reprised in the intro to rats. its nice. its like a little reminder. its also like a cntinuation of the sonic vibe. after all, it is the same guy playing on trees!
I don't mind they they use some of the same parts for different songs. i don't hear Diamond Sea in Rats either, but maybe I'm not musically skilled enough. If it's just two nots that are the same, I really don't count it as being re-used either.
probarbly he means the bass riff. slowed down on diamond sea. but a little different in my opinion.
on a side note, i just ordered Subburbia's soundrack from ebay, yeah, never found it in italy.
