The show was great! He played most of Trees Outside the Academy, with Psychic Hearts encores. At one point he said that his and Kim's apartment in NYC got burglarized and their powerbooks were stolen!

Being Thurston's age, I was bummed that I couldn't get into the show (in theory anyway) because of the college ID restriction. Did the crowd all look like college students, or were there some older folks in there? Hopefully, he'll do another show in Boston down the road. I can't make Northampton on Monday. It's a work night.

I think it was mostly college students

keep an eye out for some crack heads trying to fence some lap tops. They used to prowl around LIC not so much anymore. maybe they should post the info with a model number or something. you never know a miracle might happen and they are recovered?

I remember thurston did his presentation/slide show at MOMA off a lap top so he probably has a lot of very cool stuff on that harddrive. anyway, Im crossing my fingers they get them back.

i'd say it was 99% college students...there were a few non-collegiates there, but mostly scenesters/friends of the bands (billy ruane, david michael curry, john moloney, etc).
