that's a pretty nice combination. Adding a 8 ohm 2x10 cab would add more "definition" to the sound and unleash all the head power. but you can always do that in the future when you'll find a good deal for that.

it's light, amazing volume and frequency response. doesn't cost much, too bad that the price includes shipping for usa but shipping overseas is kind of a pain in the ass with import rates and stuff...still, with "weak" dollar...

thanks guys. the bass bomb idea is a nice one definately but i don't think for the 600 i could better that ampeg head . . . plus it's in england with free shipping . .

nah, it's a matter of "sound" mostly. You know, that "ampeg" sound :D ... if you like it (and it suits well your initial "description") that's quite a deal.
