Haven't seen Punk Broke. Spinal Tap is classic.

Spinal Tap is one of my favorite movies, but Punk Broke! I'll never tire of it.

Come on...This is Spinal Tap is far superior. I know some of us are biased because of SY, but think about it. ST is the ultimate rock parody. The spontaneous combusting drummers, the cocoon that doesn't open...watch it again.

I love Spinal Tap. Christopher Guest and the crew are geniuses!
Still have not seen Punk Broke...waiting for the DVD...

Is there going to be a DVD? I'll have to check the SY news. I haven't been keeping up. I don't have a VHS player anymore. Poor me. Anyone have a transfered version? I'll trade http://db.etree.org/sherman3

havent seen Spinal Tap but fuck it, it could be all the Star Wars flicks in one, its still not as good as punk broke

punk broke: genius musicians for the most part
spinal tap: genius comedians/film makers/satirists

spinal taps manage to mock the whole damn record industry and all music genres/scenes up to that point without being part of any of it and completely from the outside.

sorry 1991, i know you are not a duck, you're a human, but the tap win.

I'd agree on Christopher Guest, especially when he's giving his intimidating zero neuron hazy gaze, but on the whole, Spinal Tap is so lazily built that it ain't funny (plus the music is bleuarg, hard to cope with).
Not too fond of 1991 either, but I'd rather see that one again, for the music (and the dog).

Punk broke is much better than spinal tap.
