I could never really get into her, I always felt her music kind of bland. I think I only like one song, and that is Get Into the Groove. I wonder if I should give her another try. Does anybody have the same problem?

There's certainly bits of Madonna that I can't get into - mostly sugary ballady stuff - but there's a whole lot of stuff that I really love too. I love the stuff that's she's been doing for the last five or six years where she gets good slightly innovative dance producers involved and steals all their best ideas - Music is a particularly good album for that, in my opinion. But you have to remember that I have a great affection for good pop music.

But if you can't get into Madonna, don't get hung up (I used the title of a Madonna song - clever, huh? :)) about it. It's not compulsory, even if you are homosexually inclined.

i own erotica which is a really good album but that is about as far as i go

Should they be doing that? Isn't anyone else with you?

Never got into Madonna, even her more popular stuff never really appealed to me. If I had to choose her most intresting album or song, I'd go with "Lucky Star" and whatever album that's on. Her first? Can't even appreciate her all that much for the provocative factor.
