My friends little brother was electrocuted on saturday
 

he was 16.
too many people that i know have passed away lately...
i think this brings the count up to 7 or 8 in the past 2 years

i am feeling very paranoid right now.

thats fuckin' heartbreaking.

A tragic accident left a 16-year-old dead in Brazoria County over the weekend.

It started when several teens went swimming at 39 Lazy Lane, Los Playas in Brazoria.

Officials say that Ward William Cox grabbed a metal pole that had fishing lights.

Cox was electrocuted.

His friends pulled him away from the pole then started CPR

Cox was rushed to Brazosport Memorial Hospital in Lake Jackson, but doctors couldn't save him.

Cox was a student at St. Thomas High School. He had recently transferred there from Memorial High School

That is one horribly fucked up way to lose and son and a brother.

I'm glad to see his friends knew how to apply CPR, even though it was unsuccessful.

That's terrible. My absolute worst fear is losing one of my brothers. I don't know what I would do without them, they are my best friends. Stay strong for your friend, I'm so sorry this happened.

hey crypto, another reason to take advantage of life while it is with you, another reason to tell those you love that you love them, and to forgive those you do not love, and to enjoy even the saddest days.

I think that there's a window of time where you know more people that die from their behavior vs. knowing people that die from "other reasons".

when I was in high school, I knew a guy who was riding home from school on his bike. his sister was in a bus that was next to him, so he was waving and showing off. the bus turned right in front of him and he was smashed under the back wheels with his sister watching.

a few months later, a classmate of mine was found hanging in his closet with his pants down. autoerotic asphyxiation is a really bad way to be found dead imo.

anyways, I don't mean to sound callous, but people's friend's little brothers sometimes die. :(

Sorry to hear that, Crypto. Sounds like a string of bad luck, recently. Chances are, things will get better.

That sucks, man. My best friend's mom died a few weeks ago. It was rough. Good luck.
